La Cascina di Opaco Farmhouse
Accommodation at La Cascina di Opaco is offered in two different buildings.
One property, originally used as a forage store, has been restored by using traditional rural house techniques and materials; stone walls, oak-beamed of chestnut, ceiling “a pianelle”. It consists of two independent rooms that overlook the old farmyard.
The other building was originally a stable. It has been converted into a cozy and comfortable property where the taste of a contemporary style blends with traditional materials.
Stone, wood and wrought iron characterize the place as well as the furniture of the 6 rooms.
A large long room with a fire place and a lovely breakfast room are the heart of "La Cascina". Here, guests can enjoy genuine home-made cakes and marmalades, bread cooked on a wood stove and typical Norcian cuisine. |
